I purchased the 4mm 16 inch chain and it proved to be a bit stiff but that's fine as it hugs the curves of your neck, so keep that in mind when you consider the length as it won't fall like a typical chain. I would go for the 18 inch next time or go shorter for a more collar-like look. The vermeil looks great nonetheless!

The vermeille is very nice on the gold. You can’t even tell that it is not fully gold. I will say- the smaller chain is like a choker on most necks. In terms of representing these length differences, they did not do a great job on the website. Besides this- it is a wonderful purchase.
